Come help me celebrate the album release of Makings. Ten years in creation, this song cycle is based on unpublished writings by my grandmother, acclaimed author/activist Tillie Olsen. For this performance, I will be collaborating with poet Rebekah Edwards (my cousin and a grandchild of Tillie's), who will be reading original work. Casey Van Portfleet will accompany me on percussion.

Also appearing is Charming Hostess, an amazing local group led by Jewlia Eisenberg.

Admission is $10 - 20. Doors open at 7pm.
